Hi, my name is mike, and I'm a trekkie.

Hmm, if I had like $1000 i would totally buy all of the tng dvd's, too bad i dont, so thats not really an option. Lately i have been watching lots of voyager on tv, and have taking quite a liking to it. DS9 never got me going, and Enterprise has the worst acting ever (I still watch it). I never really got into TOS, probably cause I'm just too young.

Well, at least I can admit I like star trek.

Not to get too OT, but DS9 was the best ST series ever created. Clever storylines, good acting and the last 3 or four seasons we're incredibly well done. I can't stand Voyager and anything after it

Oh, it's about time they released vintage ST in a box set.

Voyager, stands out in my mind because it managed to be so bad that I actually disliked it(whereas with the new one is just kinda funny bad)

Of course I was usually baseball-game beer drunk for every ST:Enterprise episode and my friends and I would just hoot and hollar everytime Sam Beckett would get into an altercation.

"Kick his @$$ Scott!!"
"Your not going to take that from a Vulcan are you?!!"
"Your instruments aren't going to work...
Use your fists!!!"

Shouldn't the call be for Trekkers rejoicing?

Yeah, I'm there.

I read the headline "Trekkies Rejoice!" and thought "OH!! Berman and Braga have finally been fired???!"

Then I read the post. Bummer.

well, i was watching star trek long before "voyager", "ds9", "tng", or even "st:tmp", so i've always been a trekkie not a trekker. the first episode i can remember seeing was the horta. "no hurt i".
