I heard someone mention the Musical Fidelity X-Ray Cd player and it looks pretty small. Are their any other small cd players that are pretty good?

Hi, the X-Ray isn't that small! It's easy to damage the finish, I wouldn't recommend lugging it about. As far as small CD players go, I think Cyrus ones are quite dinky, a bit smaller than a shoebox. They don't have external PSUs as standard, and are relatively light. I don't know how easy they are to find outside of the UK, though. IIRC, they are quite upgradeable too.

there was a thread you might want to check out here , as the subject matter is pretty similar...
i'd like to add the flatfish or the shigaraki from 47 labs... haven't heard either, but the looks just make me drool... wonder if the pi tracer would fit the bill, as well...
