yes,%95 of my trance collection is vocal trance and a lot of house. what i am looking for is IEM that is not fatiguing over long period of time, with punchy and fast attacking bass, good instruments seperation and a decnent soundstage . i use%99 of the time my zune and when at home i listen to my panasonic CD player which have a driver in it that makes 3D soundstage(its awesam really). so from what i read the shure will fullfil my needs

another thing you may want to be sure of is getting an iem that has a higher ohm rating. phones like w3, um2, se530 have a low ohm rating and are harder to drive. what you get is this: more boom, less resolution as bass edges are softened as the bass rolls off. it will still sound good but if you can either get an amp or a phone with a higher load, you will help your zune which has typical bass roll off though still a good stage.

phones with ratings of 55 or over are perfect though they run into other problems later on. simply, there is not a player out there that can make any iem shine perfectly, only reflect good aspects of its design.

I would say definitely a dynamic driver IEM such as the IE8 and NOT stuff like the UM2....the UM2 sounds way too sleepy (the bass component) for high energy trance and house.
BUT.....for armature driver IEMs.....the Klipsch Image X10 is truly awesome.
Its detail for bass is truly world-class. But i feel compared to monsters like IE8, it can lack body. But only IN COMPARISON. Otherwise, if you have never heard the IE8, it can be safe to say the bass reproduction in X10 may be the best you have and will ever hear.
