Tralucent Audio 1Plus2 IEM (Now With 'New' 1Plus2.2!) Impressions Thread

Agreed regarding 846 vs 1p2 + Uber. Too transparent? Well that's alot like "too good" or "too much money".

I bought some 846's hoping they would give my 1p2's some occasional rest. Can you say: "What happened to the soundstage?" I ended up selling the 846's. If you want mellow...just turn it down, or switch music...

I've briefly auditioned the 846 and only briefly and only that duration had enough impressions that the 846 is no competition to 1Plus2, period.

Yes, the uBer wins hands down even against the clarity of Ted's Solid Silver OCC cable terminated balanced into the AK240.
Very pleased I bought the uBer as part of the deal. Ted's cable is beautifully light and well constructed so it'll be great to use out and about with the 1p2.

Just dont be shocked when u see the price lol

The uBer cable is as expensive as the IEM itself lol

That alone gives you an idea how its quality is and what is the fuss all about with people been mentioning it all over the forum.

  actually its not..

ITS MORE EXPENSIVE lol....

I guess. Slightly more expensive. I was comparing it to the price I paid for my 1plus2 with the gold cable, not the silver cable.

I said the other day:
"In critique mode (difficult in the infatuation phase), I wonder if the combo may be a bit too transparent (tiringly so). I do find that transparency can be too demanding and consequently tiring at times."

After a few days - I was wrong - they're not too demanding.
They just won't be side-lined.  They demand, and get, all my attention, no problem.

Thats my point you compared it with an iem AND a cable

Vs

Just the Cable

I agree, but you cannot just buy the IEM without its cable right?

Ok, you can try re-selling the silver/gold cable to recover the difference...

Just a clarification needed here......

The uBer can be packaged with the either the 1plus2 or Ref.1 instead of the stock silver/gold cable which made the entry of the cable much easier.
