A few reviews have used the headphones. However the Dave is a dac so, like any dac it would just work with the trafomatic.. Not sure what the question is there.

Looking to know if the Head 2 vails / masks the mesmerising transparency of the DAVE and if it can drive the Abyss 1266 and HiFiman Susvara's to their full characteristics and potential.
Ok. So they drive my Arya great. Review did stay the susvara sounded great.
As for transparency. The amp is fairly clean and detailed. With a laid back sound with its default tubes.
It uses sovotek (Russian) sound. So it's neutral.
I have since upgraded my tubes and it's made a big difference is detail presentation.

It's a gorgeous unit. Solid build. Very nice semi gloss finish. Easily the most smooth and premium volume pot I've felt. As well as a very linear pot. The volume increases at a nice even pace so you're never startled by a jump.

Biggest regret in audio was selling mine….hard to come by. I looked for one again before settling on a Wells Audio Dragon which is really good in it’s own right.
