Hello,
Just for fun and comparison, a Toshiba SD-P1000 portable DVD/LCD player is added into the tests.
Toshiba SD-P1000 DVD/LCD Headphone out, no EQ:
Frequency response, dB: +0.26, -2.67
Noise level, dBA: -78.3
Dynamic range, dBA: 77.3
THD, %: 0.046
Intermodulation, %: 0.141
Stereo crosstalk, db: -73.2
The frequency response is essentially flat from 150Hz to about 6kHz.
The frequency response results are a bit misleading: there is a rolloff in the bass beginning about 150Hz becomming .25db at 100Hz, -1.75db at 50Hz, and -8db at 20Hz.
The high frequencies begin a general rolloff at about 6khz becomming -0.25db at 10kHz, -1.0db at 15kHz, -2.25 at 18kHz and -4.5db and 20kHz were there is a sharp rolloff.
All in all, the player doesn't sound bad. A bit of hiss. Movies sound great.
Best regards,
Paul
