Awesome meet....wish i could have stayed longer. Absolutely fell in love with the HE-60s...are there any other headphones that come remotely close to the HE-60s?

Agreed with the other in saying its a great meet!

I spent a lot of time with the HD800 that charliex brought and did enjoy them but i think I'm going to stay with my he-400s for mow as they seem to have the sound Ive been looking for (read: probably selling the RS2 soon!)

I'm still going through the photos my fiancee took and should be getting them up soon! Ill post a link here when they're up.

To be honest, this was one of the best meets I've been to hosted by FallenAngel.  The small and intimate turnout of mostly regular attendees allowed
for time to actually do some serious listening, socializing and trying out other's gear.  And of course the libations were second to none.
I came away thoroughly impressed with the HE-400's, a remarkable headphone for the pricepoint.  And it was the first time that I have listened
to the Schiit Lyr and those 6 watts per side into 32 ohms made my LCD-2's sing - great synergy between the two.  The Magnums and V-Modas
are also worthy of mention.  Thanks Pavel for a GREAT meet!

Darn those SR007's.. there's a pair on Canuck right now and I had to take a flame thrower to my MacMini so I would't click to buy.. wait, there's 3 other Mac/PC's in the house..
Anyway, thanks for the audition.. the SR007 are my next purchase.
Thanks to all and Pavel again for a great time!

Had a great time, first meet here in Toronto.  Was great meeting you all, especially charliex and his HD800!  Definitely the next item I will be purchasing.

    'Till the next one!

Great meet, learning a lot about headphones, and just great to have the ability to test gears out I am interested in possibly purchasing.

Love the HiFiMan HE400s, and love the Schitt Lyr.  Love Pavel's setup as well, but the spouse acceptance factor (and bank account) will come into play.

Didn't get the try out the big guns (Stax, HE60, K1000s), but was thoroughly impressed by the Joe Grados.

Got some valuable feedback to our modded stuff as well, and I will try to mod the sound of my T50RPs and those ugly ugly SR60s.

I have to say - didn't know what to expect coming to my first meet, but I had a very nice time geeking out with such friendly and knowledgeable head-fiers lol. I also enjoyed listening to everyone's gear, but I was particularly impressed by MickeyVee's Lyr and charliex's K1000 and SR007; hoping to build a system around them later on. And yes - Pavel's such a wonderful host. :] I'm already looking forward to the next meet!

And dare I ask what are you thinking about upgrading to??
And thanks for the pictures, they are always appreciated by all

Yup excellent photos. :] Thanks again for bringing all that wonderful gear to the meet charliex. The K1000s are definitely on my upgrade path, but funds are lacking atm so I have to save up first. I rarely see used units go on sale anyway, so I reckon there's ample time to save up and do research, etc.
