I don't understand pricing comments; that's cheap! What did you tight sods expect it to cost?

Not everyone has broad budgets like some of us for audio. Needless to say I personally think they could’ve been cheaper as well, price wise it’s not far off from a D90/A90 combo that performs on another level.

Perhaps, but wait until owner reviews pop up. They could be incredible from a price/performance perspective.

On shenzenaudio the Topping D90/A90 costs $1350 and the D30Pro/A30Pro costs $750, so it's an extra $600 for the D90/A90 stack.
On Audiophonics (EU, if you don't want to order direct from shenzenaudio) it's 1250EUR vs 700EUR, so an extra 550EUR
Can you explain what you think warrants the extra price?

When you say "performs on another level" what exactly are you referencing?
They've both been technically assessed at ASR (and elsewhere) and the SINAD on both the A30Pro and A90 is the same. The IEM output sensitivity on the A30pro is better than anything else out there on the market. The power on both of these will drive anything on the market so that's not comparable either. The output impedance on the A30pro is better. Technically speaking, and at the already insane levels we are seeing on these two products, there is no difference between these two products on paper except for the A30Pro outperforming the A90 in some small aspects.

The D90 has much more connectivity options than the D30Pro, which is great and the only real difference between the products. SINAD on both devices is the same. Every other measurement that was performed by Amirm is also stunning on both devices, so unless you truly need the extra inputs there is nothing about the D90 that "performs on another level". They both have their places in the Topping lineup but outside of needing some extra inputs/outputs the A30Pro and D30Pro are technicially outstanding identical pieces of equipment. I would be astonished if anyone could tell an audible difference (and I would only ever trust that persons opinion from now on when it comes to reviews) if these new products truly live up to their technical specs.

With all that being said; do I wish it was a cheaper combo? Of course! Who wouldn't want state of the art technical specs at the lowest price possible

Be interested to compare this setup to a DX7 Pro. Do we have specs yet? Nothing on the topping website.
You can read their technical measurements here:

TLDR: More connectivity options on the DX7 pro. Better overall power output on the A30Pro but unlikely to ever be a concern for 99% of headphones out there. A30Pro is also technically better for IEMs due to the lower sensitivity. This combo is also more expensive.
