Yes, as my original post states. I'm going to try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it to see if I missed a setting.Have you tried installing topping asio driver?

Download the one from topping. I too previously have an issue when I tried to install Asio Driver but with the Topping Asio Driver it works like charm.Yes, as my original post states. I'm going to try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it to see if I missed a setting.
I uninstalled everything from Topping and reinstalled the Topping ASIO driver. Now I can play DSD 64/128/256 without difficulty (I have no 512 files). I think I must have missed a step when I installed the ASIO driver into Foobar2000 last week. Can you provide screenshot of the output setting from your foobar?
25 va aren't too many?@cirodts I use a linear power supply with my D50 (not the D50s). It has a Talema 25VA power supply with decent components. I imported it from China. It has made a small improvement in sound to my D50.

No. The voltage requirement on my D50 is 5V. The current requirement is around 1A. That’s around 5W of power requirement. The D50 will draw the power that it needs from the power supply provided that the power supply outputs 5V DC and can supply a current of at least 1A.
The D50s is likely to be similar in terms of power requirements.
I use an iFi .. https://smile.amazon.com/iPower-Supply-International-Travel-Adapters/dp/B01GNNXP0Y/
It might be overkill, because the D50 should have a fairly good power filter, but it seems like a reasonable investment since the DAC is the first analog stage. I've also seen various tests of the cheap USB power supplies over the years, and many of them are pretty bad (sometimes even awful), so even though the iFi isn't perfect, it's really good. The alternative if you have to grab something is to use an Apple USB power supply (e.g. came with an iPhone or iPad), because their test results have always been predictably good -- again, not perfect, but good enough for most things.
