Lets see here... I don't know if all of these are "technically" electronica but they are definitely influenced:

Massive Attack : Blue Lines
Massive Attack : Protection
Massive Attack : Mezzanine
Massive Attack & Mad Professor : No Protection
Dj Shadow : Endtroducing
Everything But the Girl : Walking Wounded
Faithless : (Can't remember the title but it is the one with God is a DJ on it.)
Faithless : Outerspective

Ya, I've moved away from trance/progressive as well and have been buying heavely into downtempo/chill out/trip hop...Some the best albums I own are:

Zero 7-Simple Things
Royksopp-Melody AM
Blue State (either album)
Nightmare on Wax (last two)
Lemon Jelly
LTJ Bukem-Journey Inward
Platipus beginners guide to trance (the chillout cd it comes with, ambient mixes of Platipus songs, is excellent and one of the best ambient cds I've heard)

There sure are a lot of sugestions for a more industrial/techno type electronica on here.
