I am contemplating to buy a M2U .... but first I wanna know if I can replace the stock power adapter with the one that has the lowest noise/distortion....

where can i find and buy such power adapater ?

The M2U's power adapter is AC. It's normally the DC supply where noise is a concern. The supply is rectified and filtered in the M2U internally. You could look into upgrading some components on the PCB but I don't think it's necessary or beneficial to do so.

by rectified and filtered, do you mean regenerated ? I have a UPS that is online(regenerates the AC) does Magni do the same thing ?

there is lots of debate out there about "clean" power to feed your audiophile equipment with....I want to minimise noise as much as possible....the purer the power the cleaner the output signal, right ?

my setup :

outlet-->regenerating UPS-->Power Adapter--->Magni2U ...

A poor quality power adapter would definitely distort the power...wouldn't it ? If AC signal doesn't need to get purified...why do so many companies brag about their UPS's outputting "pure sine wave" ?

By regeneration I mean rectifying the AC(turning to DC) then feed that DC into an inverter to turn it back to AC....

Magni2Uber's power Adapter + rectifier ==  AC to DC power adapter....so it basically becomes the same problem that AC to DC adapters have....

Unless off course M2U has a good rectifier and filtering..hopefully better than ordinary AC to DC adapters...or hopefully way better....who knows....
