It feels so redundant to continue the listing, but what can you do?

These might change any day anyway. It's just that I normally cycle the 'then-best' artists around a quarter a year but Pink Floyd has been there for a year now.

1. Pink Floyd

The rest? If I cheat and check my last.fm profile, I see quite a few fine names, but would you consider Mike Oldfield a band really? Tangerine Dream is high on play counts, but I don't rank them to my top three. Not that it is in top three by play counts. A second name that's unarguably a band is Judas Priest. Why not, I love their early production very much.. but I can't think of them as the second best band ever. I just refuse to name any more names. What matters is Pink Floyd is my number one right now and it'll be it in future by the sound of things.

Black Sabbath
Rush
Judas Priest ( early albums, not the Painkiller which is awesome, but a complete different style )
