Hey guys,

I'm in the game for a short time and don't know much about headphones.
I'm looking for an under 100 $ headphone that can play jazz, rock, and electronic music, plus a bit of reggae and alternative.(over or on ear doesn't matter, as long as it is comfy). I don't want to be dissapointed after i buy it, because sometimes right after i buy a headphone, i realize that i have made a bad decision. Anyone who replies to this, I say thank you.

OK I'll have a try, the SoundMAGIC P30 is pretty good - it's an on-ear portable and around $50 so half your budget.

I have a P30 myself; it's no slouch and a good all-rounder.

The Sennheiser Momentum on-ear is very cheap nowadays (below $90). If it needs to be portable, that would be my top pick.

For open, non-portable headphones I'd recommend the Sennheiser HD518. They are $74,95 on Amazon right now; that's a steal!

I'd recommend Sennheiser HD 558's.  I listen  hard rock and metal and find them very balanced.

+ 1 Was going to be my suggestion if open are ok.  $75.49 used like new will be new just no retail box due damage or being open. Factory authorized full warrant.

Also, are you sure that momentum is under 100?

You can get one ear under $80 over ear $100 or so. But comfort way off from 558s all day vs couple of hrs. Let me know what you decide I will give you link for best price.
