How much are the 4P, 6i and ER6 going for, with shipping, from TTVJ?
thanks!
FYI, I bought my Ety ER-4s from Headroom a couple of weeks ago. Price was around $195 plus few bucks for shipping. Although I have never returned any phones or equipment back to Headroom (I had no reason to
), it is nice to know they have a good return policy. Beside they are genuinely great fun to talk with! I know Todd is excellent too with descent return policy. (I've bought Shure from him not too long ago.) I'm guessing his price shouldn't be too far off!
That's odd, because I just went to Headroom.com and they are selling the ER4S for $219, and that's without shipping. What gives with the $25 price difference? Is there some sort of discount for head-fiers that I don't know about?
I haven't gotten a reply from Todd either, but I assume that he is quite busy, out of town, etc, so I think it's fair to give him some time.
As far as Headroom goes, yes, there is a 10% for Headfiers (however I don't know if there is a min # of posts). I believe you need to mention your HF username in the Notes section when ordering
I also noticed that Headroom's description of the ER6i says that it has a lower impedance and is more efficient than the ER6, but the ER6 and ER6i (at least on headroom's page) are both 16 ohms and 108dB. So how the heck is the 6i more efficient and lower impedance?

Oh, my bad... I thought it was one of those things where it automatically sends you the price to your email address.
Hmmm, 10% discount on the ER6i, which is already $129.99 once you add to your cart = $116.99, plus $7 shipping = $124 shipped. Not bad at all. Now if I can just get someone to buy my D-EJ721 pcdp, I'll have enough cash to buy them!

Same here, emailed him yesterday, and no response yet

That's really weird. When I got the quote from their website, the email came to me *immediately*. Like it had to be auto-generated. Are you using the link on his website for the best price on Etys, or are you all emailing him seperately?
I had a much harder time getting a quote from discountheadphones/iDealSound, but YMMV.
I think I'll just get the ER6 or ER6i from Headroom since TTVJ may take a while to get back to me, and Idealsound's price is a little higher (since Headroom has the 10% discount).

ER6 has 48 ohm impedance, 6i is 16 ohms. Also the 108 dB sensitivity is at different input levels: 0.4 V for the ER6, and 0.126 for the ER6i. Meaning the ER6i will be louder at volume. Which seems to be the case in actual use.
