Jan Meier got 18 Orpheus HE90s at <$5K ea for Head-Fi members. Can you use your contacts with Sennheiser to spring free a few more (possibly at a lower price) for our members?

Hi Billy,
The VPI 16.5 is here and has your name on it. Would you like it shipped out with a nice new pair of Sehring speakers??? Every once in a while they ask about you ... in stereo of course. And then there are these Scouts I have just waiting for a good home - maybe the Devine residence would serve as a good home to one of them. And a good cartridge (free mounting) .
The HE90 headphones were, last time I talked to Sennheiser USA, NOT available. There is obviously an advantage to being in Sennheisers backyard. Congratulations to Jan for scoring them. He is a great guy and great to deal with. I highly doubt that I could get them through Senn USA for less than I got them before which forced me to sell them for over $6.5K ... so Jan currently has the goods and if you want one I highly recommend getting one from him.
And just a reminder - I will be having another High End show here in Montana again in Feb so make plans to attend.
