If you have detachable-cable wired earphones, this time you will get a chance to make them into true wireless ones. The UTWS3, with great improvements in performance, listening and operation experience, is now going into the market. Here is a brief introduction for it.

More satisfied to operate it

It comes with a standard charging case with large storage space where the earphones can be charged/paired/turned on and off, fitting earphones of different sizes. The battery life of a single ear unit is about 5.5 hours, and about 7 hours for the TWS+ mode. Ear units can be charged 4-5 times by the fully charged charging case, in a total of about 30 hours of battery life.

Driving HiFi earphones with great ease

By applying a high-performance amp chip, the UTWS3 does a great job in driving multi-driver earphones with less distortion in signal transmission and improved driven capacity. In addition, the amp circuit has the function of adjusting analog volumes, which effectively helps to improve noise floor, dynamics and signal to noise ratio, thus achieving superior music performance.

Dual microphones for clearer calls

Both the left and right ear units have 2 built-in microphones. The primary microphone at the bottom of the unit picks up your voice, while the secondary microphone placed at a 90 ° angle from the primary picks up ambient noise that is filtered out by the Qualcomm CVC noise cancelling technology. Together these microphones give you crisp and clear calls.

@FiiO Much appreciated update. Perhaps a 2-pin version would be offered in future iterations, but there are way to convert from MMCX, and I'm happy with what I see here.

I, however, wonder when will LDAC be a reality with such nice pieces of tech?

Looks like an UTWS1 with a new housing and charging case. That's it.

Why not update the Qualcomm QCC3020 to QCC3056 or even the QCC304X?

If coming to a second iteraction, a more current/future proof device would be more appreciated.

Why not aptX HD or LDAC?
A device with similar size that the BTR3K and only capable of the old Bluetooth codecs....
TWS devices do not support LDAC currently.

Best regards

What is the noise floor on these? Can you use it with something like the Andromeda?

Noise<8μV

Here is a sharing from other user:

Looks beautiful, but alas - hiss with the Andromedas is pretty bad, mainly because there is an easily audible crackling noise interspersed with the hiss on whichever side is connected to the phone.

Best regards

The UTWS3 support rock, pop and vocal EQ currently. And due to individual preferences, you could try out by yourself to get the suitable EQ.

I'm really enjoy using the UTWS3 with iPhone + Campfire Andromeda. Very precise control of volume for low level listening and low noise floor.

Could you please upgrade the app/firmware to provide custom EQ setting? I would like to raise the bass and treble just very slightly. The 3 preset settings is too extreme. A custom EQ is the best option as personal preference of everyone is different and each in-ear monitor has different frequency response.

Also, if the EQ can be increased to 10 band would be awesome. Thanks.

Dear friend,

Thanks for your kind feedback.

We have reported your requirement to the engineer. But we will need to assess the feasibility first.

Best regards

UTWS3 with Fiio FA7 I am experience some sound quality issues. It's occurring when using UAPP or when just using Tidal direct. Scratching sound like connection is being pulled (like when you pull an aux cable while listening that scratching sound) also experiencing cutting where audio cuts out briefly

Dear friend,

Please try to clear the pairing for the UTWS3 and reconnect again for check first:

Did you try the FA7+UTWS3 with other player as well? Does the issue still remain?

Best regards
