y'know those stickers that come with a/v equipment touting its features or manufacturer name/logo? i have a tendency of not removing them, such as the sony "dots" on the trinitron TV, the "for professional" sticker on my MDR-7506, or the "compativility" sticker on my MZ-N505. hell, i even have the scratch protectant film intact on my original Creative Nomad Jukebox and my Nomad II MG. i dunno, i guess it helps retain its "newness" novelty. is anyone else as crazy as i am?

i am thinking the exect samething for my v6. i kno these v6 will look A LOT better with bryer pads and the red stickers removed...
BUT...if the stickers were removed...wouldnt the resale value go down? and i bet you 30% of the buyers will wonder if these are the real V6 or not, caus they look quite different without the stickers...
im one of those guys who likes to keep everything as close to orginal as possible...so i guess i will keep the stickers on "for now"

The protective film for the gold
plate on my Adcom pre-amp has
been there for two years now.

Took the dots of my Trinitron
though...

I only leave those stickers and protective film on long enough to make sure I ain't gonna send the item back. After I decide to keep it, off they come.

I hate stickers, and I hate that protective film on LCD displays even more. My monitor still has a sticker on it though... I wonder why....

Hmm, I hate stickers, but I just noticed I still have all the stickers on my SCD-CE775 after having it for about six months, and the stickers are still on my V6 after over a year. And (except that I just got a new shell) those stupid Pentium, Windows, 3Com, etc, stickers on my are still on my laptop. I think I'm just too lazy to take them off.

But about those V6 stickers -- are they supposed to come off? Every pair of V6/7506 headphones I've seen (not just Head-Fiers', either) still had the stickers on them. And the stickers do seem fairly difficult to remove ... I think there was a poll once about who kept theirs on.

I take the stickers off as soon as I can. I can't handle leaving them on stuff. I find myself starting to remove the plastic film on some of my friends stuff too, I usually realize it before its too late....don't want to mess with my friends' stuff you know.

PFS,
So you finally took the stickers off your V6s?

I like the V6/7506 stickers. I think they give the 'phones a distinguishing look, and a lot of studios that use them usually keep them on. Stickers on other things are usually a per-basis case. I dislike the stickers on my laptop, but I like stickers on my desktop (when positioned in the right place and chosen carefully).

Protective stickers almost always get taken off by me, unless it is an item of extreme worth or resale value.

I hate anything that impedes the screen, especially those "dots". So I vote "crazy".

Whoa, ProFingerSk8er, they look so weird with the stickers off. Now I feel all self-conscious -- I don't want to strip my poor headphones naked. ...
