Hello, i'm not sure where this should be posted so i just posted here anyway.

On 10-band equalizers, we can usually raise the 8k frequencies but for 5-band equalizers there usually isn't an 8k band to raise. However, is it possible to simulate raising the 8k frequencies by raising the voice and high frequency in some pattern?
I hope you understand what im trying to say.

Sorry... you really can't do it... you'll have to just drop the bands around it.

What are you trying to play through?

Depends on the player, on the s9 i have several frequencies i can choose the closest being 6.9k and 9k but i can also change the width so not all are affected as such.

Pick up a new flash vibez (if they ever actally become available) and set the center frequency on one of the bands to 8k then adjust the width and gain as appropriate.

The Karma should also allow you to set an 8k band, but I'd have to double check.

If you got a player that is rockbox-able, you can set the EQ parameters in that as well.
