Hello,
I am a Korean-American member of Head-Fi and the Korean audiophile forum named "닥터헤드폰" (Dr. Headphone) on Naver (네이버; Korean equivalent of Google).
Dr. Headphone is the #1 online hifi community in Korea with over 241,996 users.
It is a site used mainly for item reviews and buy-and-sell.
Unfortunately, I have recently encountered several issues where the owner of that forum kept deleting my posts and eventually deleted my account (twice, since I made a new one afterwards).
I had made posts introducing Linsoul and PenonAudio retailers because they are not well known in Korea and I wanted to share about them to Korean people.
Unfortunately, it turned out that online forum is run, managed, or funded by Korean retailers.
This information is not disclosed to the public, making it seem like a neutral forum.
The owner of the cafe went as far as to block my emails (all I asked was an explanation).
This is an unfortunate event, but one that has revealed the truth about this community.
I hope other Korean users of "Dr. Headphone" will also become aware of this.
Also, I have to show my appreciation to Head-Fi for not being controlled by corporations, even if it does advertising for them.

저는 한인 미국인 으로 네이버의 닥터헤드폰 카페를 사용 하고 있었습니다.
제가 Linsoul 하고 PenonAudio 판매자들을 소게 하는 글을 닥터헤드폰에 올렸습니다. 이 판메자들은 하국에서 잘 알려지있지 않고 그리고 한국 분들이 새로운 제품들을 경험할수 있다고 생각 함으로 소개 했었습니다.
하지만 저의 글과 어카운트가 계속 삭제되고 해서 카페 대표 한테 이메일을 보내서 상황을 여처보니 저의 계인 이메일도 막아 났었습니다.
참 이상한 일을 겨끼고 다시 보니 닥터헤드폰은 업체가 운행 하거나 아니면 돈을 주면서 조종하고 있는것 같습니다. 이 정보는 카페에 공개되있지 안고 많은 분들이 모르는 소식인것 같아서 알려 드립니다.
한국 문화에서 이런 일을 보는것이 아쉬고 업체가 조종 안하는 한인 오디오 커뮤니티가 있을까 찾습니다.
