Well, if you can't afford a good amp, there's always the option of building one. Do any of you have any links to or plans for a good scratch-built headphone amp? I am looking for one to drive either the er-4ps or the HD580/590/600s I will soon be getting. I am pretty skilled with electronics so the construction won't be an issue...I am just curious as to any suggestions any of you may have.

In addition, does anyone have any experience with the scratch-built amps on headwize? Thanks for any input.
