The NABU is a great low cost surplus chassis, but the six standoffs are kind of PITA. I was getting mine ready for 3 MAXes and one Aikido 24V so all the stand offs had to come out. Thought about the Dremel or grinder, then I flipped it over.
I chucked a T1 Uni-Bit in my drill and put it on the nut on the bottom. Three steps into the bit the stand off drops off! Takes less than 3 minutes to drill out all six standoffs, flip it over and deburr the inside.
I'll post pics of my prepped chassis in this thread later... I have to get them prepped tonight so I can drop them off tomorrow for primer, paint, and clear coat at my local body shop.
