time to replace the stock cables?

been listening to my new hd 650s with woodies, they are great...a good upgrade over the cd3k but i think they can use more transparency and punch...i am sure that the cans have the potential to be more revealing.

Absolutely. My main problems with the stock cable were the syrupy and slightly congested midrange, and the lack of treble sparkle. The headphile silver cable will fix those issues, do what you listed, and more, for under $100. I like it quite a bit better than the Cardas and Equinox. You've already had good dealings with Larry, so why not go for it

i am getting one from zu, listening to stock hd 650s feels like...the music has little spark and not enough groove. need to take a break from silver for a while tho...
