I have been reading here for days and watching you tube info trying to learn all I can before buying a
DAP.
Also go to the makers sites and compare specs and try to read between the lines.
I used my Ipod classic 30 G until it has no battery, but still can be used plugged in.
Also my super old Oregon Scientific Mp3 players battery is also dead after MUCH use.
Thanks to this I forum stumbled on to Koss ksc 75s, modded them and am enjoying them so much.
Just ordered FiiO amp, A3 to boost sound both with my iphone 5s and computer.
I want to buy a DAP now.

I am a shuffle lover as when I listen while hiking, biking, jogging I like to be able to next track easy,
and adjust volume if needed.
As low teck as my old beloved Oregon Scientific was, the UI was so easy to use, hanging it around m neck like a pendant, able to without looking, one hand, next track shuffle and volume.
I will start ripping my 300 or so cds to mp3 320 kps while still being able to listen to what I have on hard disk but in M4a mid resolution form.
I would like to "future proof" a bit as knowing myself I tend to be content with what I have and use it until
it dies, this is why I need to make a good buy soon.
So I ask those who know, have ideas, and choose to share...
Of the 5 models listed above which would you recommend and why please.
Also other models I should consider?
