@terrav Hmm 3rd party cables do look very nice! If you happen to have the dimensions template for your sticker, do let me know.

Since your photo is great, i want to try one more time !
What cable is that? How does it compare to the oem cable? I tried a silver plated one from amazon and could not tell any difference at all!

That is a custom silver plated copper cable from Satin Audio, a brand from my country. I prefer neutral sound so i keep using the Amp1 / Balanced Output (M9 didn't contain 2.5mm cable). Compared to the Stock Cable, i really can't tell because the two stock cables are 3.5mm/4.4mm while the Satin is 2.5mm, the Amp1 doesn't have 4.4mm output though.

Compared to the iBasso CB12 which is Copper/Silver Plated Copper cable, my Satin cable provide brighter and clearer sound in High, and the Low has less quantity and tighter. Of course this is not a day/night difference but i can feel it.

Is that Satin Audio's site still under constructions? I can only see 4 options for iem cables.

If you don't see the whole Monster and Standard series, try changing the language and they should be there. When you get to the exact model you choose, change the language again, and you'll see the English description

I think that shure iems have become outdated and have poor price/performance ratios compared to today's offerings. I think that the sonys are more technically capable.
I don't think that apply to the 846 that much, at least that one isn't fallen out the market that far like Senn's ie800. Sennheiser had to do a makeover for people to remember it exist, haha.

Also KSE 1200 and 1500 DEFINITELY isn't outdated, not by a long shot.
