Hi

I was wondering if you guys could help me find a replacement jack for my MDR-CD1700's.

I've taken pictures of the housing of the jack and the 1/4" adapter it should fit. Basically the old jack had a little area at the base of it that would allow the 1/4" adapter to screw in.

I've been unable to find a new 1/8" jack that has this screw in behavior. It also has to fit the original housing of the jack, but I doubt that's too difficult.

Please help me out!

I'm not as intelligent as you guys so this is a shot in the dark. I usually go to mouser or digikey for parts like these.

I did the searches for you.

Mouser carries the 3 pin, 3 connector type plug, while Digikey provides a 2 pin, 2 connector type.

You can find more on the Bantam type Switchcraft plugs here. I hope this helps you OP.

if you want a threaded 1/8" so badly, I'm getting a MDR-CD750 to cannibalize the headband...I won't be using the plug, which is exactly like you need, drop me a PM if you like
