Hi, 
I was wondering about the Turtle Beach i30's and have read a lot of awesome reviews.
I just wanted to get some thoughts from a true audiophile and if it's worth the 200$.

I think its pretty rare, if anyone really has them.
But... Since Turtle beach is know for "gamer" products, its also known for pretty bad soundquality. Would be surprising, if this one is actually really good. But doesn't mean, they can't possibly good.
 
For a similar Price, you should compare it with the Logitech UE 9000, and also with the Sony MDR1 RBT (as of which both has a great review on Innerfidelity).
