he's making the ipod nation look back... it's a good thing no one will buy it though(unless you have cow dung for brain)

i've sold couple sets of apple earbuds for 15 each, but 50 dollars

i remember seeing a seller selling a pink mini for around 290, but the only shipping option was 50 bucks 2nd day air...

wow

Exactly, I've got 2 sets on eBay right now, I started the auctions at $15.

wow 50 bucks. He even tells his customers that its 35 plus tax if you go to a store. So if we buy his for 50 bucks, and its opened, and we have to wait to get them. What is he thinking?!?!?!?!??!?!? DOES HE THINK THE WORLD HAS GONE CRAZY AND TAX IS LIKE 50%?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

Last time I checked, with the nation's deficit soaring, the tax rate is going to be like 200%

So a 50% tax hike is a like a bargain.

It is entirely possible that an error has been made with the listing and he wanted to start it at say $5 not $50. Rather than call him an idiot or greedy at least I had the decency to e-mail him and tell him that he won't sell at that price and ask if it is it an error?

If he replies and confirms the price is $50 then I'll reply here. However if it is an error then next time one of you guys makes a typo here at Head-Fi then we can start a whole thread about what an idiot they are!!

looks like a typo... but you would usually spot that before confirming the auction posting.

at least he is doing the smart thing (although a very anti-Head-Fi way of doing things) of selling off one pair of headphones before going for another one.
