This season's earmuff-phones?

Thank you Pinkie for your as always informative post... I believe this is what you were trying to link to. I fear they are too warm, and the headband is probably too smal for my head.

They are on e-bay, i just searched "ear muffs". I was looking for new pads for those vic firth full isolation headphones and i seen those. It looks like it would be easy and cheap if you already have the clipons. Maybe even pull the drivers out of a set of UR40s and slide em in there. The cool thing about the KSC drivers is that it has a little grill quard built into the driver so it would keep everything safe.

The muffs sure do look nice and warm though, pity they are foxfur or I'd have bought a pair myself to keep my ears warm when I'm outside soldering... the heater fell off the workbench and blew so these would be ideal until I can source another heater from the local skip..... one of those industrial parafin jet heaters would be great.
