Player = Cowon A2. Looks great. Haven't tried one yet.

First I've seen of you, dap pad, in these stretches of the woods. Glad to see you've begun to make the transfer from dapreview over to here as well, or are you cheating on us? I've pretty much closed off all connection from dapreview after becoming such an audio snob.

Music just sounds so much better with my eyes closed and I can't do that on my bike or in my car.

(And my H320 is just about as much DAP as I'll ever need...)

Btw, what kind of camera is that? The picture quality is pretty stunning, especially for being taken in, what looks to be, fairly poor lighting conditions.

IMO the A2 does not benefit from any amp I have heard (including the LaRocco PRII). I would even go furtherand say that the amped sound is worse.

So the only reason using one is to drive full size cansas Johna does.

People using In Ears or Earbuds do not need an amp for the A2.

Yes it is a Cowon A2, and it`s a very good player.
It`s rather big, but for movie watching it must be this size.....
The A2 drives 701 and 770 very well, in a warm and joyful style.
For IEM`s the A2 would be enough power.

And it smashes the iPod`s in every discipline!!!
But with the Tomahawk connected, the music comes more right in my face!

The pictures are taken in poor lightning conditions. I like it that way. And especially with black and gold details.
The camera I use is an ordinary Canon 400D.

Yes, it is an IEM killer in every meaning of the word

And yes, I have IEM`s and iPod too...for training outdoor. Makes more sense
