I was at my friend's 16th birthday party along with, his mom, his grandma 3 other friends. We were at a bowling alley and the people next to us who were having another birthday party with about 20 five-year-olds, claimed they had reserved 4 lanes. They must have been dreaming this because when we called the place they told us they cannot reserve lanes for anyone. They weren't happy at all because we were going rather slowly and eating while we played.

In our second game some of the kids from the same party started coming over into our lane and my friends grandma tried to tell them to go back to the other lane. While she was getting one boy's attention she tapped him ever so lightly on the shoulder. At this point the child's mom goes biserk, she runs over yelling at the 65 year old grandma saying, "DONT YOU EVER TOUCH MY CHILD!." At this point me and all my friends were shocked. the unbelievable part was all of the other retard parents agreed with the genius who was making a scene in a friendly neighbourhood bowling alley. The manager could tell these people were nuts so they moved them away from us to another lane.

This is when things really got out of hand, they thought it would be really fun to call the cops. The police get there and couldnt care less about what these people were whining about. He was far more concerned for our safety because the other group had like 4 body builders and we didnt have one guy over 16 (the kid who was having the party's dad died of cancer last year).

These were some of the rudest, dumbest, and disgraceful people i had ever seen. They were making a huge scene over nothing in the middle of a kindergarten birthday party.

Now just guess they're excuse for freaking out... I PAYED $300 FOR THIS PARTY.

go cry about it but dont ruin everyone elses time while your at it.

I couldnt believe what happened because we don't live in a big city or anything and this is very rare. i guess the jackass club just decided to have an outing

I was amazed that they werent kicked out. The waitress came over to talk to us about them and told us they caused trouble in the dining room too. This is why nobody believed them when they complained

Kids don’t respect their parents so why would they respect another adult?

When I was a kid if nothing else I feared getting my butt whooped so I didn’t mess with adults.

I once asked some 7 year olds to move out of the way so I could back my truck out of my parking space and they told me to F’ Off!

Think how messed up society is going to be when these young people grow up?

well yes it was at the palasad by westmount. I was calling London a small city because alot of people come from cities like new york or Boston where you cant walk down the street with an ipod (you have to be careful everywhere of course but you dont hear about these things as much in the "smaller" cities)

It wasnt even the kids that were the problem, thats the sad part. They were like 4 or 5 years old and just wandered over to where the balls come out on our lane. We should have been complaining to their parents to keep their children under control, one could have left and walked into the middle of the street and they wouldnt have evne noticed.

The grandma had no business tapping a 5-yr-old on the back, period. It is absolutely rude to tap someone and get their attention, and its a taboo when kids are involved, especially as young as 5-yr-olds. what was she thinking, reason with 5 year-olds?

The smart choice would have been to talk with their parents, and nicely.

The place was very loud and she was just trying to talk to the child. We even asked the child if he cared and he said no. Who in their right mind would yell at a grandma

she wasnt telling the kids to go back to their lane we really didnt care about that. She was just saying "excuse me" because the kid was in the way of her bowling ball

Its not like i would have walked all the way over to where the parents were standing. There was like 8 parents and not one of them had the sense to watch their children.

edit: plus you cant give these people any credit, who calls the cops for a tap on the shoulder

What?

Since when is tapping so rude? And why should it be more rude to tap a child? I've never once in my life felt offended when someone has tapped me on the shoulder to get my attention.

Yeah, wali, I don't know where you're getting that from. If it's loud and you need someone's attention, a tap on the shoulder is perfectly fine. It's better than a rap on the head at any rate.

That is pathetic. I would have called the cops and had them throw the group of little kids out.
