Doesn't surprise me, CNN is worthless. I mean when you actually suck more than FOX News, you are REALLY BAD.

Why do women have to take every opportunity to start a conversation? I mean if I go to bathroom and see a coworker that I am familiar with I would probably greet him and maybe have a few words to add to if we had just been talking before. But starting a new conversation in front of urinals?? What about you guys?

at work i hear guys talking on their cell phones while on the crapper. they'll hold loud mini-meetings in front of the sinks, or while using the urinals. besides that, they'll WASH THEIR FEET in the sink i have to use to wash my hands, getting water everywhere and not cleaning it up (perhaps their mommies will do it for them?). i know it's a muslim thing, but for chrissake, at least clean up after!!!!!!

-edit-
wait, i just re-read your post jahjah. women? urinals? what the hell kind of freakish company do you work for, man?!

I meant men starting conversation in front of urinals, at least I haven't seen that happening, that's why I was wondering if men are different.

It's a matter of logistics. If our plumbing was on display for all to see, and for whatever reason was a bit of a status symbol proclaiming our automatic dominance, and we likewise used urinals with no doors or partitions to offer privacy, then hell no we wouldn't talk to each other either.

As it is, well, there's privacy to do the deed on many levels. It's safe to chit-chat without feeling "exposed."

Anyway, when my husband told me this story, I had to think of Frank Drebin in Naked Gun.

What a rediculous thing to say. I'm kind of shocked you said something so rediculous.

Care to elaborate, or did you just want to take a jab with nothing to back it up?

For whatever reason, some men tend to feel a societal pressure about things they have zero control over, and that don't matter anyway. I didn't make that rule, nor do I believe in it, but if women were in a similar situation, we wouldn't chit chat either.

What's rediculous is your spelling of rediculous.

As one who made a "x2" comment, and without impeding on Mercuttio's right to make his comments (and also with all friendship towards you, plainsong

is plainly ridiculous.

I was pretty sure your comments were stupid enough to jab at without backing it up. I mean, did you re-read what you said? Frankly, I'm insulted, and I think most males would be.

"Automatic dominance..." come on.
