I was going to post this in the source section, but I don't think they would appreciate it as much. Check out this new DAC from the German company Accustic (not mispelled) Arts:

http://www.accusticarts.de/pages/en/dac_i_fr.html

What do we have here?

-Upsampling to 66 bit/1536 kHz (evidently NOS need not apply)!

-60,000 uF capacitance!

-4 digital inputs (including BNC)

-beautiful looking casework

Anyway, it'll set you back $10,000, and I have no idea how it sounds - but eye candy it is

$10.000 for a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) kit? Wow!

I guess I assumed you guys would be smart enough to know that I know it's not a DIY kit. Jeez! I've made my own DIY DAC, so I know a few things about it. Why do you think I put it here, and not in the Source section (see my first post)? I thought the DIYers (that's you guys) would appreciate something like this, from a technology standpoint. For example, aren't any of you interested to know how they produce a 66-bit signal? I am. Sorry, for trying to do something nice.

I can appreciate it, but damn my wallet nearly died when you mentioned the price.

I like the look of those knobs though....will need to find a source for some that look like that.
