I currently have a 4th gen 40gig ipod and it's full. So I'm eyeballing a 60gig video ipod. I understand I'll need a new dock, and the firewire cable I currently use for transfers will have to be swapped for the USB 2.0 version. But, on my nightstand I use the ipod with a Sik Din, line out to an amp, and I have the Apple (firewire plug) charger and a firewire cable run into the power end of the Sik Din. This allows me to charge while I listen at night. My question is, will the 60gig video ipod still charge off the setup I have now?
I don't really want to have to buy a new charger, cable, and Sik as well as the ipod and dock.
Edit: By the way, any rumours of an 80 or 100gig ipod appearing soon?
