Thinking about getting some MS1s...

Alright...right now I have a pair of HD555s and maybe be looking to get a pair of MS1s for just Music...Just got a few questions first

Are they comfortable? my HD555s are really comfortable...how do they compare?

I here they are really good for rock, is that true?

Do they have better highs and mids than the HD555s?

If I do get these will I need an amp?

The foam pad migth be a bit uncomfortable before they break in, I washed mine with mild soap so it break in faster.

Dont bother with the hd555. Either go to the 595 or take the ms1, depending on your needs. The hd595 is a better all arounder than the ms1, ie u can use the 595 for movies and gaming and not the ms1.

I find my MS-1s with reversed and modded 414s to be just as comfortable on MY ears as my HD600s...if that helps.

If you are getting the MS-1s and still keeping the HD555s, then that would be even more fun! And as stated, yup; they are great for rock! And nope; they don't need an amp!

But watch out, Alessandro packs an upgraditus bug in every pizza box.....and they bite!
