My advice when ordering a newly released ThieAudio product, especially one where they pretty much make the item to order, like the Monarch and Clairvoyance, unless they actually have the item in stock and ready to ship, assume it will be AT LEAST a month, just so you don’t drive yourself crazy. I wouldn’t even bother asking the status because you’re not going to get an honest/straightforward response. I ordered the Legacy 3 shortly after it was released, just one of the default designs, and it took about a month for me to get it, even with DHL shipping, so transit time was negligible.

You got a good point there, they show “ in stock” when I placed my order, but they told me 10 days in the chat.
If they give the package to DHL by December 6, I’ll be fine and by that date the order will have about 30 working days.

Just a quick question about linsoul shipping as a whole, has anyone been forced to pay customs and/or tax for the import. I know they tend to declare the price as low, in order to avoid this.

That doesn't depend on Linsoul shipping, but on your country customs policy.

I know that I payed a tariff before the delivery. I am from Spain.

They are asking how much they declare the value as. Some countries look at the declared value to determine duties. Others require the receiver to tell them how much. I had to send a copy of the order invoice for them to calculate it.

So I have finally had time to sit down and properly test out my Monarchs and I am very happy. I can't write paragraphs on different aspects of sound but I have been listening to exclusively my MEST and KSE1200's recently and the immediately noticeable difference to both of those is the warm and powerful bass. I can FEEL it and after reading about how the Clairvoyance is the "fun" sibling and this is supposed to be the analytical one, I am shocked.

You don't get the detail of the KSE1200's but that was never going to happen. The highs are not as nice as the MEST/KSE, a little bit shouty but again, I am comparing to IEM's 2 and 3 times the price.
Vocals a tiny bit recessed. Overall tuning seems suited to electronic music.

I am very happy and they are a good addition to my collection.

In one sentence, I would rather listen to Electronic/Rock/Metal on the Monarch and I would rather listen to Classical/Acoustic/Top quality recordings on the MEST/KSE.

DHL charged me with €22 (little more than £19) for everything Linsoul to Italy, regardless of the value.

I think that's the normal handling fee caused by an import outside of the EU.

Essentially, I'm asking if anyone has paid an extra ~20% import for their headphones, as opposed to only the handling fee charged by DHL, because if so, I should probably prepare for that.

Giving you guys an update on my Monarch order.
Yesterday I got communication from DHL and they already have my package. It took exactly 3 weeks (15 working days) for Linsoul to fulfill my order. That is pretty good .

Yesssss!!
Mostly with ES100, BTR5 and LG V30, but there is also DFRed, Ifi Micro BL, SP200, Magni/Vali and maybe by the end of the year Lyr3.
I know...most of us have way more than what we need or can use.

Updating myself! Just got the Monarch today at noon. Four days and 6 hours from Linsoul to New Jersey. Bravo DHL!!!!
On the Linsoul side, the Monarch looks beautiful( haven’t listen yet) , package is ok, could be better in mi opinion , even when I personally don’t need the few missing extras, they should be there for a $730 IEM.

Congrats! Keep us posted on your listening impressions. I think the Monarch and Clairvoyance faceplates are so beautiful, though I personally like the Monarch design better.

I totally agree. That extra bronze looking detail makes it so much better
