Sorry, that I don't know anything about headphones :P, but which are better out of these 6? I'm just mainly looking for a medicore and good valued headphone. These are all around the same price range. Also, is there a search function for this forum anywhere?

My brother has the MDR 300s. They sound so-so. The sennheiser 497s are much better. You can get them for 50 bucks.

Headroom gave them the best under 100 dollar award.

Good value?

Koss KSC-35 or PortaPro. Around 40 bucks. I own the KSC-35, and I owned the HD497. The Koss phones are much better.
That's that.
Search is disabled right now.

My experience and/or opinion of those headphones are as follows:

Ugh! Boomy, muddy, harsh and uncomfortable all rolled into one.

Never heard one. But I wouldn't expect much in the way of sound quality from any of the lower-end Sony headphones. Every one of those full-sized Sonys priced up to $150, except for the MDR-V6 and MDR-7506, have disappointed me in terms of sound. (Note that the MDR-V6 is NOT the MDR-V600, the latter of which blows monkey chunks.)

The few reviews that I've read here at Head-Fi are unfavorable for these cans.

Too dark for my tastes.

Though it has gotten some decent reviews here at Head-Fi, I never got that 'phone to fit my ears correctly, no matter what. As a result, the isolation is almost nonexistent to me, and the bass is weak. But hey, if it fits you properly, then go for this 'phone!

Meh. Expect darker, muddier sound than the Koss PortaPro, which appears to use the same drivers as this 'phone.

Hope this helps.

I would choose the Senn HD497 over the Koss PortaPro series for one reason: if the level of the bass in your music tends to be on the high side, the PortaPro series distort very badly. The portapro's sound nice, and are smoother than the HD497's, but the HD497's have better, deeper bass, and a generally more open sound. (Their only real major flaw is that they have a tendency to be a bit dry and are pretty grainy [but the $200 Grado SR-225 sounds almost the same as the HD497's and yet are really popular headphones]) The HD497's the only headphones under $150 that I really like. You can find them for anywhere from $50-70 (excluding shipping of course).

The Sony MDR-CD380 (I've spent some quality time with a pair) is surprisingly musical, involving and comfy for as inexpensive a set of cans as they are. I'm used to a $200 pair of Grado SR225 and a $100 pair of AKG K240S. For a few days, I traded a friend of mine his MDR-CD380 for my AKG K240S, and I used the CD380 exclusively for that time. I used them for all genres of music and movies, amped by my cmoy and PPA and unamped from my Terratec EWX 2496, Pioneer DV-563A and Sony PCDP D-321. I could tell the difference between the CD380 and my usual cans, but I found them to be thoroughly enjoyable, musical, involving and comfy. For the days that I had the CD380, I did not miss my K240S (my primary listening cans) at all. And I spend about 6 hours each night listening to music, watching movies, etc. through headphones. I was surprised that a $35 set of Sony cans performed so well, but they did.
