Anyway, Anyone have audio music player have stop working prompt out? It happen when the track you are playing are at the last 10 sec then when you press another track from another folder the error pop out.

Yes, this happens to me as well (or at leat I sometimes get shut down when shifting tracks). Also the "repeat" sign is always on in the now playing view even if it's actually set to off......

So their "Please wait a moment" could last to the end of a month, while major bugs will be fixed.

or could be because their server got hammered with too many downloads

Need some help guys. with all the other updates I just dropped the update on a micro SD card and it updated perfectly. Can I do this update the same? Just a little confused. If I put it on internal storage where do I put it? It says root directory and I'm unsure of where that is. I unzipped it already. Do I need to take that out of the folder?
Thanks in advance...

More likely to be a bug-fix update in view of the update released for Opus#2 today.

That Opus#2 update was released 4 days ago OTA (over the air).  They probably just have fw file link for those who have their wifi off.

Regarding Opus#1, the update was quick and painless.  Here are some updates with pictures.  Sorry, took quick shots in a poor light.

GUI is identical to Opus#2 now, very smooth interface with a fluid touch controls.

For everyone to keep in mind, now you have to swipe down the notification bar, all the way down to reveal shortcut controls and access to Setup icon (in upper right corner).  Short swipe down reveals notification bar only, and another short swipe down from there quick shortcut menu.  Long swipe opens both.

I did a quick test, everything seems to be working great.  USB DAC is recognized right away on my laptop, no need to install any drivers.

Three gain settings work as expected.

In the main screen, when you tap you get two icons in the upper right corner - "star" to add to your favorite list and another one to add to a custom playlist.  And custom playlist can be named easily with a pop up android style keyboard.

I also absolutely love Line Out implementation!!!  Whatever volume setting you have on, once you enable LO it freezes output to that volume, but no longer uses internal head-amp and your 3.5mm output because a clean LO.  I just tried it with Micro iDSD, and with LO disabled you can hear a distortion due to double-amping effect, but once you turn LO on - the sound is clean.

You can set your time zone and proper time now, displayed in the notification bar.

EQ works in real time, you adjust it and sound change is reflected instantaneously, no need to restart anything.

The volume now brings up AK style touch slider.  Yes, it goes into a "volume" screen very briefly, but could be very convenient when you want to change the volume quickly, especially when you switch to sensitive CIEMs and need to react fast before blowing your eardrums.

NOW, the big question, has the sound changed?  We all were treated to quite a few Opus#1 fw updates where the sound sig fluctuated a bit.  With new FW 2.0 I hear a very subtle change in the lower end, maybe a touch more sub-bass and maybe a little more body in the lower mids, but the clarity and the detail retreival were NOT sacrificed.  It's really hard to tell the difference because you are not doing a real time a/b comparison and you just relying on your mental notes before and after the FW update.  So, if anything, the change is very subtle.

Also, please don't get confused, just because this is Lollipop OS update, we are not talking about full Android OS.  Opus#1 doesn't have wifi or bt, and has a custom GUI on top of the android.  This update brings up that background android OS to a new version, to make it aligned with their flagship Opus#2.

Thank you very much Twister and Whaleshark for all of the very helpful information on the Opus 1 and the new firmware.  Also, thank you for suggesting a place to buy and saving me money on which model to buy.  I will buy one after the holidays are over when I have extra cash.

Really love the new interface of the Opus #1.
Sound wise - imo, it seems that there are a tad more air and energy in the treble region as compared to 1.06. Bass impact seems to be slightly stronger.
Prefer the sound on this as compared to 1.06.

I find it much airier , and sub bass hit harder as well. I'm using balance all the while.

I got fed up waiting for that "moment" to pass and I am currently enjoying low gain mode with K10s at 90 volume... agreed - quick and painless update - don't mind doing it again tomorrow if required.
