Does the Opus 1 metal have a really thick or warm sound? Not looking for that now. I find my Shure SE846 are too warm even with no filters in full on afterburner mode with small grey Shure silicone tips. I need something to thin them out some or at least not be as warm as my desktop computer with them.

Thank you

Riley

Loving it....
Nice!
Good synergy with the K10?

My favorite OTG (outside) combination these days is the Opus #1 + Andromeda.
Wonderful synergy as well

Oh it does, the layer and seperation is just amazing! It match or even outbeat my old ADL GT40 dac/amp...

I find it just perfect touch of warm not too much and very musical....

It's worth getting a balanced cable for the K10s - the Opus balanced output is better than it's SE and better suited to the K10.

I know... I am looking at Copper Cable due to I am a more vocal mid focus person...

Looking Effect Audio AresII

That cable looks fantastic. Forza will do something similar and Linum is worth a look. The other option, if you're handy with a soldering iron is to replace the jack on the Noble cable as it is four way throughout it's length.

Omg. I have budget for either Andromeda or Athena V-III.

If I buy one of those. Choose Opus 2 or 3. I wouldn't have much in my allocated budget for much else.

If I buy Opus 1 metal from musictek I can buy one of those iems and get 2x 256 GB sticks.
