Firmware 0.5 not possible to install at 4495

But nothing bad happens. The firmware simply does not install.

I just checked the options right away to make it clear to everyone. I have 4495, 4497 and 4499 =)
It is not always possible to install earlier firmware on player.

I checked on my old 4497 - everything works. I also returned firmware 0.4H - no problem.

Thanks, I will give it a try later. Any improvements? I noticed on the last version, my dsd runs a bit cooler.

After unRARing the downloaded file, Copy the extracted files to the root directory of a memory card (microsd on 4499), insert memory card and turn the Zishan on.

I checked on my old 4497 - everything works. I also returned firmware 0.4H - no problem.

I've installed the 0.5b firmware on both my Single AK4497 and Dual AK4497 DSD units.
The interface & settings are the same on both, and the Dual AK4497 unit shows 0.5b on the screen - but the Single AK4497 unit still shows 0.4i.

You may need to take the memory card out and delete the update files so it won't flash them again.

I was able to update my single 4497 to 0.4k, but it still won't update to 0.5b - even after rebooting, and attempting to re-flash several times.
