Tuesday, June 9th, 2009: Apple's Phil Schiller gets up on stage to announce a new software and hardware for Apple.

Expected:

• iPhone 3.0 Final feature set + Release date. Late June release.
• Snow Leopard final feature set + Release date. Final developer preview launch on Tuesday with final launch in September.
• New iPhone with superior video camera, magnometer, possibly a camera on the front. Some say 4-32GB capacities. Some say just 16 and 32GB. Same price for 2X the capacity.

Just thought I'd start a thread about it

Anyone think Jobs will show up on stage?? There were some rumors floating about this a week ago or so. They were saying he was doing a lot better.

PS: I hope a new iPod Touch comes out

I think Jobs showing up is unlikely, to be honest.

Shows like WWDC take months of preparation and Steve has been on medical leave since December. Plus, a single sighting of Steve Jobs would surpass any news Phil Schiller announced.

And about the iPod touch- September. There'll be the 3.0 software update for the touch available for $10, but a new iPod touch should be on the way for September.

Should be good! I'm hoping for a new macbook air either at WWDC or soon after. Heard something about them maybe having 3g built in? That would be nice

Go for it! I'm eagerly waiting news of the new iPhone. I'm buying one. The (rumored) faster chip and more internal RAM will be worth it for a heavy user like me.

Apple is notoriously jerky when it comes to past generation owners. Only in fairly extreme cases do those owners get upgraded to the latest and greatest, and that's usually only when bad PR may be had.

I severely doubt you'll get any special price breaks, unfortunately

yeah they usually suck about free upgrades after new models come out but I know they offered original iphone owners new contract pricing on 3G phones without a new contract

I did not know that! I guess that makes sense then, if there's new hardware, ATT might work with people.

What do I know, I'm a (begrudged) tmobile customer

New Macbook Pro for some reason... none removable battery that will last up to 7 hours and up to five years/SD card slot (instead of express card, it looks like)/better display
