I vote for Riddick.

Sorry about the limited vote options in the poll

It would be best if you have seen it.

The special effects in Riddick were nice. But the plot is the worst I have ever seen.

I haven't seen Glitter, maybe the mods can add Glitter to the list.

Vin Diesal only did well in movies before he was popular, aka Boiler Room and Saving Private Ryan, then they tried to gear him towards the whole arnold genre with a twist and just horribly screwed it up.

Really? I didn't see it, but I thought everyone says that it is a great movie.

I saw the first one, and didn't like it. Maybe it's just me, but this whole masked hero genre just doesn't appeal to me anymore.

P.S. Although I am still nostalgic about the first 2 Superman movies.

I think it was called "The Mexican" with Brad pitt and Selma Hyack (sp?)... but Kevin Costner has done some pretty lousy, drowsy films in recent years as well. "The Postman" comes to mind! Bad is one thing. Needlessly long and bad is inexcusable.

"the iron giant" was okay, but the bad guy's actions were pretty contrived and the message was pretty heavy-handed. diesel was good, and given half a chance (aka good script) he might actually make another good film (remember "pitch black"?)

"the iron giant" shares many similarities to the earlier, far superior film "Laputa: The Castle in the Sky" from studio ghibli.

yes i know, thanks. avoid the english track of "laputa"! the sound effects are are so low you cannot even hear them over the new score. the english track of "kiki's delivery service" is actually quite good, featuring the late great phil hartman. i cannot wait for "totoro", my favorite anime.
