If I could talk my wife into it, I'd be doing the same thing at home too. I've got better headphones than speakers, and I don't need to worry about room acoustics to get the proper sound with cans on. Needless to say, she thought I was out of my mind. Though the few times she's put headphones on to watch TV (while I'm on the phone) she remarks at how much better it sounds. Go figure, she still won't buy into it as THE way to enjoy it though...

That's a very good point Jeff about not needing to worry about room acoustics. But I am usually on my comp which is my media station as well and that is one of the reasons I went searching for cans so family can enjoy blasting the tv speakers while i enjoy my cans

Oh and would like to see some pics from TS as well

post a pictures with as many people wearing mid/high quality headphones as possible. Extra points if they're your family members. Negative points if the picture is from a meet.

I have to pick the right movie. My son HATES headphones, although he can spend eight hours a day with a headset on chatting with his 360 gaming buddies. This WILL happen, and I'll sneak into the kitchen and grab the stashed camera. Rigging the power amp failure could be the toughest part. I have all seperates with no remote controls. Maybe a hidden timer on the power amp!
