Northeastern Bosnia floates between -5 and -10 degrees Celsuis, with around 20cm of snow. So far it is tolerable, but we are expecting bitter cold impact during the weekend, with temperatures reaching -15 and more snow.

Russia hit -50 in some areas yesterday calling in army to help the cut off villages and frozen cities. People of Moscow are warming up with vodka at temperatures of below -30, but some of them paying the price with their lives.

Poor people of India and Nepal cannot stand temperatures of slightly above zero. 225 died in the last two weeks.

And as Pace from Finland reported:

"It is finally bit warmer here in Finland! Only -10 degrees celcius at the moment. It was around -30 for couple of weeks... that was FREEZING. And as I'm a complete idiot, I tried to run out there... I'm just happy that I didn't get sick whilst doing that."

So how cold is it out there? Do you enjoy winter or fight hard against it?

There is a mental barrier in my brain that prevents me from imagining +40 in January. Let me try...5+.. going steady...10+, OK we had it last year...20+, hmm feeling dizzy ....30+...headache...35+ (passed out)

So you guys who live upside down don`t count.

I'm sitting here wearing just my shorts because it's too hot for anything else.

It's the time of year for going to the beach lots, bbqs galore, and many parties

It is swinging between 12c and -8c (54F and 19F) here in the southeastern US. I kinda want some snow, as half and inch (or even the possibility of half an inch) will shut down the entire state, its great!

Well, today up here in Ottawa, it is -16...will get up to -13 C sometime today.

Ottawa is an interesting place. Because of the Valley we have very strange weather. In a single day we can experience all four seasons, with every type of weather you can think of. It happened a few years ago.

One interesting fact is that Ottawa gets to be the coldest place on earth usually once a year, as well as the hottest place on earth usually once a year.

Strange...very strange.

Well here in Iceland I think the weather is just nuts. Now its 8 °C, cloudy, some rain and a little wind. Well if all things were normal there should be -5 °C and some snow. Infact there hasn't been any snow here this winter! While we are enjoying this good weather most of Europe is covered in snow. It even snowed in Venice...

It's only 34 F outside here in Seattle right now, but lately we have been getting into the 50s, which is quite warm for this time of year. It hasn't rained in about four days either and we've actually seen the sun during that period!
