Isn’t thick and resolving oxymorons. Kinda like what’s the the most transparent yet distorting dac amp? Course not just digging, I’d consider over sampling to warm things up like A K…. But I’m sure there are more resolving tubes than others, I have no clue

I came across an Acoustune cable and wondered whether you were familiar with it but I see you have it listed in your signature so you're good. But since you've been looking for other Acoustune accessories and stuff let me know if there's anything I can hunt down when I'm in South Korea as that's firm Acoustune territory. I think you normally order from Japan but if there's anything you fail to find or they won't send out just let me know before 10/10 and I'll take care of it.

Slipknot also has a similar dirty sound. But you can still listen to them. Because the balance of pure/dirty is not bad.
Here, this dirt is really too much and it negatively affects the quality. A lot of live recordings made by amateurs sound better. Only some of the Raw Black metal records worse, but it's a deliberate move there.
As for the rest, no matter what they say, the vast majority of metal is recorded, if not great, then well and quite acceptable, so that it can be listened to with pleasure.

I had short session with M9 but i prefer how it match with N6ii Ti that is brighter

The dirt in heavy metal are due to messy mids. slip knot as busy as it is, has a power drumming that and mixing that has cleaner mids.

Gorgeous TG334's! Man I miss how their cable snaps in so securely. The best connector in the business by a country mile. I still have a BTG Audio custom cable w/ Fitear ends laying around, but no Fitear IEM anymore. Maybe that's telling me to rectify that situation!
