Happy to be an outlier here, but I actually prefer my SP3000Cu (especially with Cayin C9) to my Hugo TT2/MScaler. I find it more musical and enjoyableYou wont find a DAP to match THAT level of desktop performance, you just wont.
Yeah it’s hard to find a synergistic cable for the Macbeth. I think currently it is the EA Beyond (Overall really good with it) or maybe the Ambition (yet to test) which is supposed to be the perfect pairing.Failed to rolling cable Macbeth with verus lavender

Anyone have an impression on Macbeth stock cable vs having to roll it? ThanksYeah it’s hard to find a synergistic cable for the Macbeth. I think currently it is the EA Beyond (Overall really good with it) or maybe the Ambition (yet to test) which is supposed to be the perfect pairing.
Of the cables that I've tried with Macbeth, here are my favorites in order of preference:
EDIT: Here's something from @EnigmaFotos:
- Ambition
- Sonnet of Adam
- Raphael
- stock

My review for imo one of the best DAPs currently available is online now, the NiPO N2!

I've been very happy where I'm in my IEM/DAP journey and as a result I've been very selective on what else I want to add to my collection. I've been eyeing is the thieaudio valhalla.
I can't say I like the look, as the looks to be rough, and the gap between the face plate and main body is too visible. I wish they polish that Titanium body, as it would look so much better.
Theiaudio has been one of those brands that each release they are getting better and better, and their price to performance to my ears is justified.
Anyone on here heard this? I see no mention of it on here.

Kinda on the same position. For about the past year I’ve mostly relied on a few IEMs and 2 DAPs. Most of what I’ve tried has been great but not punched through my go to. I’m gonna keep my powder dry for a bit and explore some other audio gear as I’m pretty darn pleased with my DAPs and IEMshasn’t released yet

Has anyone tried the Spiral Dot Pro ear tips and are they any different from the other Spiral Dot ear tips?

You are better off getting the Eletech Baroque. They are of similar design philosophy, but Baroque allows me much better seal.Has anyone tried the Spiral Dot Pro ear tips and are they any different from the other Spiral Dot ear tips?
Spiral dot pro and spiral dot have similar silicon case, I find pro less stiff.
