You guys just casually ruining yourselves with the Fugaku 😅 dangerous game, y’all are playing

Lmao. It’s worth the “headache” haha. But yeah I’m just being super picky and making it more difficult than it needs to be for sure.

I might grab one myself. I really liked the LO into Fugaku. It had this slight digital edge to notes which could be distracting if I focused on it but the way it handled the bass drivers and soundstage was very impressive for something that isn’t a massive brick or $3000+.

I need to think about it.
Among the Audio Motherboards of N6ii, the A02 was the most soaked after and the second most discussed Audio Motherboard. This is a pure line/pre out Audio Motherboard that does support IEM or headphones directly, it was designed to serve as analogue source to your amplifier.

I am quite sure we'll have a pure line/pre out Audio Motherboard for N6iii down the road, to pay homage to the A02 Audio Motherboard. If you intended to use N6iii with an amplifier, let's say you haven't heard the best of N6iii in my our designated application.

Thanks @Andykong for the info. I found the LO already very impressive as is from the C201 motherboard. It was incredibly clean and dynamic going into the Fugaku. I really only felt it was directly bested by Lotoo PGT2 but that was a little softer sounding in comparison and the DAP doesn't fit my intended use case.

What is the one on the top of 1Z? RN6 or XE6?

Xe6. Been loving it through the 1Z. I understand why it's so popular with electronic music in particular. The Xe6 feels like the inverse of the Fei Wan and along with that IEM is comfortably my favorite DD based multi-brid IEM out there right now. (APX SE I have not heard yet unfortunately.)

Yeah, a little bit surprised when I saw your picture since I remember reading your IEM spreadsheet in which you clearly mentioned you prefer RN6 since XE6 has too much bass. In my case, I had RN6 and XE6 twice together for extended time and I found XE6 better suited my preference. It is like Fir Audio Frontier has a secret sauce, but they decided to dial it down in RN6.

XE6 takes a lot of time getting used to. If I had to describe it, it’s like learning how to enjoy bourbon, just like Trifecta.
Well, when I first demoed Trifecta this SoCal CanJam, I instantly fell in love with it. If I did not already buy XE6, I would ended up with a Trifecta.
