Wished they would do much more sensible things, like limiting the volume my tinnitus is allowed to play.In Europe, you don't need to imagine, government limits the volume for you on your DAP

Hmm...I am in Europe (EU).hahahah, thats very sad but laughable.
Do you think this could qualify as art? Maybe we could get @RTodd to paint one? Use some different colors though.Preview of the results: Word cloud generated from the "desert island" IEM submissions. APX OG & SE as well as Traillii OG & TI numbers were combined.
Hmm...I am in Europe (EU).
My DAP(s) are just fine. It can blow my eardrums easily if I want, and I am very used to listening to loud music.
You have a warning about certain volume settings, but should I listen to their advice? Hell no!
Cheers!
So who's best iem on the market right now?Do you think this could qualify as art? Maybe we could get @RTodd to paint one? Use some different colors though.
Different people, different answers. So who's best iem on the market right now?
I carry the big heavy 320max with the PB5 and a bulky headphone everywhere. Not a big problem for me hahaEven the gold brick is way too big to carry around. I don’t know how anyone’s carrying that thing Anywhere outside their house
Looking forward to it!
I have received a few personal emails asking me (very kindly) to compare the PMG APX SE with other IEMs I have. The most frequently mentioned was the Multiverse Mentor, followed by Radon 6, Traillii, Phoenix LE and once Ragnar. I love reading reviews myself. And I am sincerely grateful to every reviewer for their hard work, especially when the reviews include comparisons with other IEMs. But firstly, there are probably no two ears that perceive the music from one and the same IEM in the same way. Any twin research, including brain scans, would certainly confirm this thesis. Truisms, I know. Truisms that I myself have already suppressed more than once when an IEM was hyped enough and I had enough money in my wallet. I'll keep it short: I'm going to try my hand at a comparison. I've already got a few generally well-known and rather well to very well produced live albums ready. I will test all IEMs on the same DAP and with the same cable. But please bear with me now. My perception of the music will most likely be at least slightly, sometimes even significantly, different from any of you. Even if the absolutely identical hardware and the identical music content (in terms of quality, mastering and volume) are used. Each of us has different sonic preferences and tolerances. Another truism. And just another of almost countless variables that make it at least difficult, perhaps even impossible, to receive the Sender's message unambiguously. What do I perceive as a reviewer? How clearly do I then send my message? And what does the reader receive? I'll give myself 14 days. Hopefully, my comparisons will reveal some tendencies. At least that would be better than nothing. Have a nice weekend. marcus.
That’s great! Why spend 5-7K on a cable when stock is better! All iem’s should be tuned with the stock cable for best sound so we can save the money! These few days i am playing around with APX SE changing cables and eartips and i find that other cable alter the APX SE by a lot. No cable can make it sound better than the original included cable i have a hunch that Mr.Piotr tune the iem using the cable. I find that the included cable also tune the IEM to sound correct. Hmmmmm
While eartips also change the sound a lot. For now i like zhuaudio bamboo because it sound more open energetic with some bass.
Did you finally find your Unique Melody?Mason FS in today!
The immersive soundstage and holography on this thing is making all my other IEMs feel like, well, IEMs!
So damn grand! Mind blown!
Nope, unfortunately.Did you finally find your Unique Melody?
