We will have to agree to disagree. A one person company should be able to provide better customer service since he has a personal relationship with everyone involved. All you need to be professional is make promises and then meet them. Anyone in any company size can do that. The reason I brought up Empire Ears is to show that my request is not an unreasonable one because there are many existing cases of companies of all sizes doing service right. Lee makes great products and he needs to set up an infrastructure similar to what Empire Ears has to be able to service a growing customer base. Until he does, he can count on me not buying his products any longer.
Always promise something that cannot deliver, create the shipping lable and totally forget about it. Those are unfortunately grossly unprofessional and cannot be excused for any reason.

PSA: the Max does not fit the U12t and possibly other 64A IEMs since the mesh of the tip is deep down the stem :frowning2:
I'm using Max on my u12t, don't see anything wrong with the fit tbh
I unfortunately goes through the same very bad experience. I will post it fully when I am less emotional about it.
Last time, I skipped all the logistical issues from my Elysian X review, thinking that I needed to separate the creation from the shopping experience. Be forgiving for a small company doing great IEMs.
But, seeing how it goes worse for many people, I guess it is time to call him out to stress the fact that he indeed needs partners to keep things running properly with honest communication.

I was actually intending of ordering a Annihilator with Zepp this weekend, they told me it will be 4 weeks wait lol. Now I'm slightly worried since I'm a impatient guy when it comes to new toys.

Customer service wise, I guess it varies a lot. I've both good or bad experiences with multiple companies. Before I got my Jewel from Musicteck, I was asking Empire if they had my impressions on file since I wanted the Odin and if they had my impressions on file, definitely will go for a custom. Emailed them and they said they will check but never got back to me. So I just went for the Jewel and I'm glad I did.
Likewise with Subtonic, I wanted to order the Storm and was checking their website, which has no link to ordering (unless you google for the product page which has a purchase link), but realize that they don't ship to their country of origin, which I thought was Singapore lol. Then I checked eliseaudio but it doesn't make sense for me to purchase a Singapore made iem from the UK, hence the loop to my current idea of getting the Annihilator instead. Maybe I should reconsider trying to get the Indigo?

Customer service don't have to be the best, but it just have to be decent, which can be a stumbling block for a lot of companies out there in today's landscape. I've had every Singaporean company flagship product, with the exception of one. THAT was the worst experience I've had for a while. They basically treated me like an idiot when I was trying to purchase/pick up my order for their iems lol. Thanks but no thanks, I am not rich, my money is better spend elsewhere where its appreciated.

Lol, I was quoted 4 weeks as well. You can forget about it. From 4 weeks it’ll be 6 weeks, then 7 weeks, then 8 weeks, before you know it it’ll be 12+ weeks with the same reply : next week.

If you want a more accurate estimate, prepare to wait at least 4-6 months.

Yes lol, that’s exactly how it goes. 4 weeks initially quoted but constant delays and promises of “next week” for at least another 4 weeks. I think 3 months is a good minimum expectation to have.

That is correct, but you can't pull them all the way in unless you want to stretch the mesh. IIRC 64A recommends the nozzle to be as far in as possible for the tia magic to do its job.

Giving new life to my beloved JH Layla. Great pairing and many sound possibilities with Hiby’s Darwin architecture and C9 settings. :)

The Annihilator is worth owning and Mr. Lee is a kind person. So, I feel badly for airing this dirty laundry, so this will be my last post on the subject until I get them and can provide impressions on the burn in, unboxing and sound of the IEMs.

If you want to buy them this weekend, expect to receive them by Christmas time. There is a much greater chance that the Ukraine war will end in 4 weeks then you will receive a new Annihilator by then.

Sure sounded that way. Much much wider sounding as well.
Do you know if it's going to be a flagship release?

As for Elysian, I don't think there'd be such a fuss if his products weren't as good and as rare to find as they seem to be. High demand plus low supply means the hunters get ancy. I get the frustrations, but the fact that he's still attracting so much interest despite the abysmal buyer experience suggests he's making a drug many will wade through consumer Hell to buy. Otherwise no one would bother, lose interest and his business would die.

Looks familiar ☺️

I can recommend trying the C9 in pre-mode. I found it more authoritative and stage a little wider.

RS6 is fixed LO only if I recall so you’d need to use headphone out and control volume via the DAP.

With all the scenery & food photos posted here recently, it’s finally my turn to post some foodies 😬
After more than 2 years of never really going out for good food, the missus brought me out for dinner 😋

No worries, i think those of us who went through the same experience you had understood completely. I was actually fine with waiting 2-3 months for mine if i was told beforehand/upfront or kept in the loop. However numerous datelines passed and each time i wasn't even informed of the status, and had to enquire after the dateline passed. As an owner of my own business/company, this is not how you treat your clients. Heck my clients would give me hell if i did that to them. He really needs to employ at least 1 PR/admin to handle the communication with his customers though. He is literally running a 1 man show for all his IEMs now that his only partner in China is unable to help.

I think many did not know what they were getting into when ordering lol.
