I can understand that while a new product is in development you're not eager to share detailed information with us. For people like me however, at this point in time looking for a solid X5 replacement, it's critical to be in the know whether or not this new product will be a transport model to wait for or a full size DAP.

If you can please share some essential info with us here, your customer base for such a new product before they'll turn elsewhere.

I hope you did market research not just on Headfi, but on an overall market. Some Headfi memebers only want digital output, but the general market overall may want headphone output too, or at least an analog line out. At least keep the dual full sized SD card slots, please.

The original idea (and thread title) was well received. Then changed by Fiio. Sad really.
