Actually I hear ModWright is doing a Platinum Truth mod of this DAC, which should retail for $2500. He's adding bybees everywhere... should sound great!

I hear that resolves the issue that this DAC has with complex classical music - the notorious grinding noise.

I contacted the engineer that designed the DAC to confirm you can convert the digital back to analogue by eating a lot of bran the night before.

So that's what it is, a DAC. I thought it was some machine from the Grado factory used for making cables.
